How do I use the Menlo App Store?

Menlo School provides some iOS apps to students periodically throughout the school year as authorized by their teachers.

BEFORE GETTING STARTED: It is important to have all of your passwords and usernames handy before you begin in order to successfully complete the app install process. You will need your Menlo login and password, as well as your Apple ID and password. If your account is managed or is part of an Apple Family Plan, you will need to have a parent nearby to enter the appropriate password(s).

ALSO: Before beginning, it may be a good idea to restart your device. This can be done by holding down the Home Button and the Power Button simultaneously until you see the Apple Logo reappear.

Once you have restarted your device, on your iPad, using Safari, go to apps.menloschool.org. You will need to be logged into the school system in order to proceed. Enter your Menlo username and password on the login screen as pictured.

Once you are logged in, you will see a screen with available apps (the apps available to you will vary and may not match the picture in these instructions). Simply click on the app desired, and you will be taken to the Apple App Store to complete the download.

Now you will need to enter your Apple ID and password to complete the download:

Once you have entered your Apple ID and password you will see a confirmation screen. Press the "Redeem" button in the upper right hand corner:

Now your app should be downloading and you should see a similar screen to the one below:
